 Re-enactment Groups

Historical reenactment is a type of roleplay in which participants attempt to recreate some aspects of a historical event or period. This may be as narrow as a specific moment from a battle, such as the re-enactment of Pickett's Charge at the Great Reunion of 1913, or as broad as an entire period.

The term living history describes attempts to bring history to life for the general public. Historical re-enactment includes a continuum from well researched attempts to recreate a known historical event for educational purposes.

Our first attendance as a family. What a great event. The weather favoured us with the exception of heavy rain on Saturday night.

We were surprised to meet up with Winston Churchill, Field Marshal Montgomery and Field Marshal Erwin Rommel. A first class 40's dance on Sunday evening at the Bodmin Public Rooms.

Email from Camilla 11th May 2009

Dear Michael.

Thank you so much for making a perfect hat for me. I'm amazed by your handwork and the perfection in every detail.
As the only reenactor in RAF/WAAF-uniform at the BunkerByNight on May the 9th '09, it was nice to know that every detail was carefully handled. During the 6 hours the museum were open, we were visited by 5.000 people...

In the picture there is my husband Peter on the left, and a reenactor as the legendary danish resistance member, called The Lemon (Citronen) and on my right two british soldiers.

I have of course told everyone about you and hope to be able to buy more from you when needed.

Very best regards

From
